Our Story
Achille Wealth Partners is founded on a family tradition that started when Steve Cacciutti was only 10 years old. Sitting at the kitchen table with his grandfather, Achille, Steve learned how to read stock quotes, follow companies, and, most importantly, to think about money in terms of purpose, not just numbers.
It wasn’t just about investments; it was about integrity, patience, responsibility, and doing right by those who depend on you. Steve and his cousins saw firsthand how disciplined investing could change lives when they split the proceeds from their family fund. That experience shaped Steve’s belief that financial management requires as much compassion as it does performance.
Today, Achille Wealth Partners continues to embody that same DNA, helping clients grow and protect their wealth with a deeply personal, values-driven approach that is unwavering in its dedication to your goals.
Our Values
- Integrity – We do what we say, and we say what we mean.
- Clarity – We keep the process simple, direct, and transparent.
- Discipline – We follow a proven, thoughtful investment process, not headlines or hype.
- Compassion – We understand that behind every dollar is a story, a purpose, and a person counting on us.
Our Wealth Management Process
Phase 1: Listening & Understanding
We begin with a relaxed, natural conversation tailored to you. Steve asks focused questions to uncover what matters most, from your challenges to your opportunities. It’s not about filling out a form; it’s about solving problems together.
Phase 2: Exploring & Designing
Once we understand your situation, we explore possible options, highlighting the advantages, disadvantages, trade-offs, and opportunities relevant to your specific needs. We include you in tasks and seek your feedback, as your participation greatly influences the strategy. Steve approaches this like a portfolio manager, blending analysis with straightforward “Here’s what I’m thinking” reasoning. We examine everything: investments, taxes, risk, and most importantly, what you want your money to achieve. All of this is done with tax efficiency in mind. We view helping you retain more of your profits as a key part of our job; no one has ever asked us to ensure the government receives a larger share.
Phase 3: Purpose-Driven Strategy
Steve’s favorite questionsare: Who spends the money? Who is it for? What is it for? When is it for? From there, strategies are built on a time- and risk-based framework—ranging from principal-protected and capital-preservation mandates to core equity portfolios, all the way to more aggressive beneficiary-specific accounts.
Trading & Investment Expertise
Decades of managing money at banks and hedge funds sharpened Steve’s skills. He tracks the markets daily, not from a distance, but in the details.
- Customized Portfolios – No two clients are the same, so no two portfolios are the same.
- Concentrated Position Management – Thoughtfully unwinding and building around large single-stock holdings to manage risk and taxes.
- Core Achille Portfolio – 25 hand-selected individual stocks as an S&P alternative and the equity anchor.
- Income Strategies – High-dividend or standard dividend portfolios to generate reliable cash flow.
- Risk-Based Flexibility – Lower-volatility approaches for stability, more aggressive strategies where it fits the plan.
ETF and Mutual Fund Expenses versus Individual Equities
By selecting individual equities, we can help clients achieve similar exposure to benchmarks and indices as ETFs and mutual funds, without the additional expenses. This also gives us more control and the ability to adjust portfolios or invest based on different factors we see as attractive opportunities for our clients.
Often, clients own products with minimal understanding of the ongoing costs involved (due to no fault of their own). Below are several products comparable to our proprietary investment models and strategies, along with their expense ratios.
- JGYIX: 0.84% annual expense ratio
- EFGIX: 1.40%
- AAGOX: 0.84%
- SHXPX: 1.07%
- CRDBX: 1.46%
By working with Achille in our equity portfolios, you can reduce or completely eliminate expenses like these. Our goal is not to discourage clients from using the products mentioned above, such as ETFs or mutual funds, but rather to educate them about the “all-in” cost of investment management. Achille’s skilled equity management can assist with fee drag, not just improving risk-adjusted performance to meet their goals.
